Official Summary

"Brownouts are plaguing New Homestead because the wind turbines keep icing up. Joyce Osaka is fairly new to New Homestead, but she's determined to fix these problems. However, she could use some help from the player until the replacement parts come in to fix the problem permanantly. She asks the player to go out and de-ice the equipment. This is a repeatable quest."

200		(Clear the Ice Deposits) Joyce Osaka, New Homestead's energy technician, asked me to help clear ice away from some of the power equipment out in the field and stop the brownouts. I should use a cutter to clear away the ice.
300		(Speak to Joyce) I cleared away the ice from the power equipment. I should let Joyce know I've finished.
1000	Finishes quest	(Quest End) I helped clear ice from New Homestead's power equipment, which restored full power. But, it's only a matter of time before they freeze over again and the brownouts come back.
9999		(Set when the player is either still in New Homestead, or has returned. This prevents alias-filling issues when starting up FFNewHomesteadR04Misc again.)
10000		(Quest Shutdown)

Notes

• Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
• Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
• On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage FFNewHomesteadR04 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest FFNewHomesteadR04.
