UC SysDef is a branch of the UC Navy, dedicated to combatting piracy. Also known as, United Colonies System Defense, they are currently tasked with destroying the Crimson Fleet. UC SysDef is headquartered in the MAST Tower in New Atlantis, but in practice its leadership operates primarily from its flagship, the battlecruiser UC Vigilance.
