Rafael Aguerro, or Raf, was the Chief Engineer of Nishina Research Station. While running a calibration in their high energy research lab, an explosion caused the creation of an alternative universe. In one universe, Rafael was killed in the explosion. In the other, he survived only to be trapped in the wrecked station.

During the events of Entangled, Rafael can be saved from the station. If saved, he will travel to New Atlantis and hang out at the Viewport. From there he can be recruited as a Companion.
