Kid Stuff trait.
First Visit[edit]
While visiting, they invite you to "stay as long as you like", and "your bed is always yours." On the floor near the bed, you can pick up your high school backpack alongside a note from Mom.
The Lodge[edit]
Mom and Dad visit The Lodge. Dad gives you Sir Livingstone's Pistol.
Grandpa's Meatloaf[edit]
Noel gives you a Note from Dad. Dad reveals the recipe for Grandpa's Meatloaf.
Gran-Gran's Armor[edit]
Noel gives you a Note from Mom. Mom found Gran-Gran's Space Helmet and Gran-Gran's Spacesuit. She gives them to you.
Poker Win[edit]
Noel gives you News from Dad. Dad has won a starship at poker night. He gives it to you.
Notes[edit]
- "2% of your credits" is only correct if you have 25000 credits or fewer. The payment is capped at 500 credits.
- To facilitate immersion, visit The Lodge a few days after your First Visit and before leaving the planet for The Old Neighborhood.
Bugs[edit]
- If you walk to The Lodge through the Residential Neighborhood after your First Visit, your parents will arrive at The Lodge before you. Yet your father says he's had time to meet his Dean, and time to test fire the pistol. (details)
- Parents' scene in The Lodge can potentially overlap with Main Quest scenes. (details)
- Parents speak so often it is hard to get a word in edgewise, and say lines elsewhere only meaningful in their apartment.
- This bug is fixed by version 1.0.7 of the Unofficial Starfield Patch. (details)

Notes
- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering
setstage TraitKidStuff stage, wherestageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission usingresetquest TraitKidStuff.
