Brown Horse Tavern is the longest running establishment in existence and an active tavern.

The tavern started as a mess hall for the scientists and workers when the underground was built, but it's been operated by the same family ever since. The tavern is named after large, four-legged creatures on earth who were often used for transportation or manual labor.
