Type[edit]
After 2+ months of concerted effort, all of the overloaded type= fields have been regularized to match the CK. That is, they no longer are a mix of city/settlement locations, radiant, random, and a host of other things to add them to the trail and categories. Always use the official CK designation, unless confirmed as a bug and documented with a <!-- comment -->.
Instead, there are 2 new (CK NONE) values: Encounter (added by me), and Scene (added by User:Digmaster). Which one is used is somewhat arbitrary, but Scenes must have at least one Scene. Encounters are sceneless, or BE, OE, SE, etc.
Note that tech= (the field under Faction) with Encounter in its value does not necessarily make it an Encounter. These also show up in some Activities, Missions, and Side Missions.
CK Quest Type "Mission" become "Radiant Missions" in the trail and categories to match an existing section title. AFAICT they are all either radiant Board Missions, or settlement or space missions that are not explicitly Type NONE.
All the overloaded Loc= and locations embedded in Type are replaced with places. Note that a place= is the originating/starting location, while places= are subsequent Quest Objective targets. This allows radiant missions with no starting place to display "Radiant" instead of "None", optionally followed by known list of target places.
Check the special Category Starfield-Type is "". This is a list of all the activities/missions/quests that do not yet have a type. So there is more work to do. Currently 634.

Quests[edit]
After consultation on Discord, using a new local variable type_trail, changed Faction/Main/Side "Missions" to "Quests" as that matches both the CK and the UI Mission statistics.
Also, using a new local variable type_image to do the image tests and categories.
This will entail renaming some pages and categories. But redirects are cheap.
