Shinya Voss is a resident of The Key and the Reckoner of the Crimson Fleet. As Reckoner, Voss serves as the Fleet's accountant and treasurer. This is a position that demands incredible trust - not only could Voss potentially embezzle the Fleet's funds, he could give away critical information if he were ever captured. To ensure this trust, he has been implanted with a bomb in his chest, which Delgado can detonate at any time. Voss also has extremely advanced neural implants that make him a highly talented hacker.
Voss is polite and soft-spoken, a rarity for a pirate. He shows great confidence despite his vulnerable situation, and in fact considers his position a high honor.
