Starfield:Radiant
Starfield uses a Radiant system for dynamically generating game content. This helps to make each playthrough unique, but it is also designed to send you to visit each location at least once. It is intended to keep you engaged with fresh and interesting discoveries.
This system cannot create large, complicated, or particularly interesting missions. But it can generate a near infinite number of missions with a fraction of the time and effort required to create a traditional one.
Missions[edit]
The Radiant system creates missions from components such as location, enemy type, and reward. Some of these components are randomized, and are generated every time that the mission is triggered. Radiant missions are used throughout the game, primarily with Mission Boards. They are also used in various faction missionlines and for miscellaneous missions.
Locations[edit]
Most radiant missions have fewer than a dozen possible locations. Typically, those locations are selected by a characteristics (for example, Gravitational Anomaly), but can be restricted by other factors (such as distance or level).
An alphabetical listing can be found in the category.
