Official Summary[edit]

"Go on a radiant mission to retrieve a security keycard."

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  • Talk to Imogene Salzo.
  • (Optional) Obtain and put on a nice suit or security guard uniform.
  • Retrieve the security keycard from one of 9 places.
  • Return to Imogene

Walkthrough[edit]

To obtain a security keycard from a security chief, Imogene wants to apply another set of your skills which would be either your persuasion or your pickpocket skills. Once again, she wants you to complete the job without incidents. You can talk to Imogene again to get further advice. Imogene suggests you wear a nice suit to impress the guard or to acquire a security guard uniform. For a suit, Imogene suggested you visit Aito in the lobby or the Emporium. You can buy a variety of suits from Aito who runs the product store in the lobby of Ryujin Tower, but The Emporium doesn't appear to sell suits or any other apparel.

Your target may be one of the security chiefs in the settled systems. The procedure and your options are always the same:

  • Convince the security chief to give you their keycard. You will need the persuasion skill for that. (Maybe other skills will work too.) A suit or a guard uniform will help with this option.
  • Pick their pocket and steal the keycard. You will need the theft skill for this option. It's a pretty easy steal even with level one theft.
  • Shoot the place up and take the keycard from their corpse. You probably will have to kill a lot of people and rack up quite the bounty. Imogene will not be pleased.

To get a guard uniform Imogene suggested you look into a locker room or for someone who no longer needs theirs.

Neon Security[edit]

You may need to get the Neon Security Keycard of a Neon Security Chief in the Neon Security HQ, on the north side of Bayu Plaza between Enhance! and the Trade Tower.

You can find Neon Security Uniforms in lockers on the upper level of Neon Security HQ.

HopeTech[edit]

You may need to get the HopeTown Security Keycard of a HopeTown Security Chief at HopeTech, in an employee-only area on the north side of the main workfloor.

Where can you find a Freestar Security uniform?

The Clinic[edit]

You may need to get the Freestar Security Keycard of a Freestar Security Chief at The Clinic, in the storage area behind the staff area in the north wing of the complex.

Where can you find a Freestar Security uniform?

Return[edit]

Return to Operations and talk to Imogene in her office. The security keycard is removed which completes this mission.

Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Mission system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all entries may appear in your log; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the mission is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with missions that have multiple possible outcomes or missions where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Mission" it means the mission disappears from the Active Mission list, but you may still receive new entries for that mission.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the mission by entering setstage RIR03 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) mission stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the mission using resetquest RIR03.
