Akila City is found on Akila in the Cheyenne System and is the capital of the Freestar Collective, the second largest military and political power in the Settled Systems. It was founded in 2167 by Solomon Coe. The diverse people of Akila City are united in their beliefs of personal freedom. The city itself is walled in, due to the hostile alien life present on the planet. In particular the walls defend the population against the predatory Ashta, which is described as a "cross between a wolf and a velociraptor". [1]
